Black-and-white 35mm film photography made in Beijing over the course of 2019. The work moves between the city's monumental public scale and its smaller, quieter domestic textures — brick walls, glass, laundry, the particular flatness of overcast winter light.
Shooting on film was a deliberate constraint: no preview, no correction, one roll per afternoon. What came back from the lab is what the city actually handed over.
